First we assess your child’s strengths and talents along with any learning disabilities or attentional deficits.

Next we review psycho-educational testing and evaluations from teachers and parents.

After studying the results, The K&M Center then moves ahead to create a treatment plan based upon each child’s specific learning profile.

This is completely customized.  The course of action we design takes into account each student’s underlying weaknesses and builds on their abilities, so you’ll know that their progress is authentic and measurable.

What’s more, we consider the students full partners in their mastery of academic and social challenges.

To track students’ progress The K&M Center consults regularly with parents, teachers, schools, and any learning disability or psychology professionals involved.

In addition, building on each child’s testing and evaluations, the Educational Specialist writes Progress Notes after every session to assess the student’s advancement in the treatment plan.

The Educational Specialist and the Clinical Supervisor discuss these Progress Notes weekly. We retest and reevaluate as needed to ensure that each child succeeds in meeting his or her individualized treatment goals.
